Ginger Baker was a legendary drummer who played in Cream and Blind Faith, but after that, he did not have much notable activity. In 1972, he moved to Nigeria and joined the Afrobeat band led by Fela Kuti. After leaving Nigeria, he lived in dependency on drugs, becoming a broken man. Ultimately, he settled in South Africa at the age of 73, married a young bride, and raised 39 polo ponies. This work, which focuses on capturing the life of Ginger Baker through his drumming, includes interviews with various musicians such as Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, and Carlos Santana.

In 1977, a 17-year-old boy named Valde lives with his mother in the small town of Oulu in northern Finland. Oulu is a town where religious and idyllic atmospheres are intertwined. However, as punk and rock music create a global wave, Valde, too, becomes captivated by the rebellious spirit of rock. While others listen to disco, Valde plays music by Lou Reed and New York Dolls, immersing himself in his own style of music. Meanwhile, denim jeans become a hit, and Valde's crush, Pike, wins the 'Miss Blue Jeans' contest and starts dating Henry, a rich boy. Valde decides to stake everything on a song called 'Miss Blue Jeans.'

- Matti Kinnunen
- Matti Kinnunen studied film production at the Berlin University of the Arts and scriptwriting and directing at the University of Art & Design in Helsinki. He participated in the SOURCES 2 script workshop in 2008 and has written and directed drama series for Finnish TV. His first feature, *Miss Blue Jeans*, was co-written with French director Gabriel Auer.
