Synopsis

Victor, a rocker in his forties, is ready to do anything for his drug-addicted son. His son is the lead singer of an anonymous rock band in Oradea, a small city in the West of Romania. He helps his son and the band prepare for an upcoming live concert in a larger city. Meanwhile, Victor tries to rebuild their family. However, Victor is a man on the edge. His life revolves around his son, and his chaotic existence seems to slowly overwhelm him. Perhaps the only thing that still holds him is rock music... The film explores the relationship between father and son, and the lengths parents will go to for their children.

  • Born in Romania in 1976, Marian Crișan studied directing at UNATC Bucharest. He has directed over 100 music videos and several short films. His short film *Megatron* won the Golden Palm at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, and his first feature film *Morning* (2010) received a Special Jury Prize at the 63rd Locarno Film Festival.
