Synopsis

The film is based on the true story of a couple of lovebirds who lived in a small town in Shandong province, China. Zhang Yuhua and Zhou Qinghuan fell in love at first sight. They got married with the blessing of their neighbors. However, Zhou Qinghuan unexpectedly experienced a medical accident, resulting in significant brain damage. Unfortunately, she fell into a vegetative state. Zhang Yuhua, who is a skilled singer, takes care of her every day with all his heart and sings beside her in hopes of bringing back her memory.

  • Wang Yingquan, an actor and director, has worked with the Xi'an Film Production Company, directing dramas and films. His directorial works include "The Date Palm Hill" and "Female Taxi Driver," and he also appeared as an actor in the popular drama "Guan Yu." "The Date Palm Hill" won the Golden Angel Award at the 2009 China Central International Film Festival.
