Synopsis

Thirty-something Gregory Morel has inherited his father’s position of Judicial Officer. He enforces and recovers court orders and legal claims: bankruptcy, property seizures and evictions. Not a very exciting job. While making his debtor rounds, he meets reclusive singer Michel Delpech. The retired 70s French pop idol has accumulated years of unpaid taxes and parking tickets. Morel, whose father adulated Delpech and played his songs throughout Morel’s childhood, cannot bring himself to confiscate the singer’s belongings. So he decides to help Delpech settle his debts...

  • 기자와 사진가 사이로 만난 그레고리 만느와 스테판 비야르는 10년 전부터 함께 영화 작업을 하고 있다. 정치와 사회에 대한 기사를 함께 쓰던 두 사람은 이후 TV용 다큐멘터리를 제작하기도 했다. 2007년부터 1970년대를 대표하는 샹송 가수 미셸 델페슈를 주연으로 한 작품을 준비하여 5년 만에 <미셸>이라는 제목으로 완성했다.
