Synopsis

Liz and Alexander, break with race barriers and find love through music and dance, clashing with their respective family´s implacable opposition to their romance. This will push them to make a bold decision that, though unwillingly, will shake to a crisis the values under which both have been raised. Based on the theatre play [Pogolotti-Miramar], the young couple´s struggle for love, will flash the light on Cuba´s present reality.

  • 쿠바의 호르헤 루이스 산체스는 1981년 쿠바 영화학교를 졸업했다. 2006년 <엘 베니>라는 작품으로 장편 데뷔를 했고, 이후 여러 편의 극영화와 다큐멘터리, 그리고 TV 시리즈를 연출했으며 이 작품들은 쿠바 국내 및 국제 영상관련 페스티벌에서 수상하기도 했다.
