Synopsis

Paderewski: The Man of Action, Success and Fame presents a history of the great Polish patriot, world-famous pianist, composer, statesman, diplomat, politician and philanthropist. Thanks to Paderewski, Poland regained independence after World War I. Paderewski’s great and memorable actions are discussed by several historical witnesses, including the U.S. presidents Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy, and Poland’s president Lech Wałęsa etc. The film features Paderewski’s own piano performances. The film received a Certificate of Merit at the Chicago International Film Festival Television Awards, 2014.

  • 1947년 출생. 폴란드 우츠 대학에서 문화연구를 전공했다. 1971년부터 1989년까지 폴란드 재즈협회에서 다양한 직위를 역임했다. 1990년부터는 TV, 영화, 영화음악 분야의 독립 프로듀서로 활동 중이다. 2013년 폴란드 문화부로부터 문화공훈 훈장 ‘글로리아 아르티스’를 수상한 바 있다.
