Synopsis

Paco, after studying piano at the Conservatory, finds himself unemployed. His mother advises him to get a job in the police. In spite of his total inaptitude, he ends up involved in a criminal investigation. The police commissioner is on the track of a dangerous killer from Camorra known as ‘the Ghost’, because no one has ever seen his face. The commissioner is looking for a cop to pretend to be a pianist in the Lollo Love’s music band, who will play at a wedding party for the daughter of Somma Vesuviana's boss, where ‘the Ghost’ is expected to attend. Unexpectedly this becomes a turning point in Paco’s life.

  • 시나리오를 전공한 안토니오는 ‘마네티 형제’라는 이름으로 동생 마르코와 함께 뮤직비디오를 감독했으며, 1994년 삽화적 구성의 공포영화 <데 제네라 지오네>를 만들었다. 그 이후 이들이 연출한 <토리노 보이즈>, <조라 라 밤피라> 등 모든 영화에서 불법 이민, 마약과 범죄 같은 이탈리아의 현실을 반영하고 있다.
