Synopsis

Late at night, in a parking lot, a man remains inside his car. After some thought, he picks up a violin next to him. As he plays, a string trio from the radio harmonizes with the sound, making the music fill the entire space. It’s a moment in life when one encounters their abandoned dream.

  • Yoo Dae-eol graduated from the Department of Video Design at the Korea National University of Arts in 2004. Since 2005, he has been active with the production company MassMessage, making music short films that have won numerous awards at film festivals. Trio is the latest work in his music film series that began with The Brass Quintet (2010).
