Synopsis

A fusion Gukak(Korean traditional music) band ‘Coreyah’ boards on a plane to perform at the Fringe Festival 2013 in Edinburgh. Among thousands of bands participating from overseas, Coreyah manages to draw the audiences’ attention by busking and handing out flyers. Although people initially show interest in exotic Asian instruments, such as Daegum and Geomungo, Coreyah ends up with only one audience sitting for their theater performance. Indeed, becoming popular and drawing audiences at the Fringe Festival is not an easy task. A senior artist Gwon Ho-sung visits Coreyah and criticizes its stage costume and lack of showmanship. After he leaves, the members begin unleashing their complaints and the mood turns tough...

  • 1983년 서울에서 태어난 권오경은 2009년 중앙대학교 영화학과를 졸업하고 크레듀 상품기획팀 영상프로듀서로 근무하다가 2012년 다큐멘터리 전문 1인 영화사 ‘아니스트’를 설립하여 운영하고 있다. <웨일 오브 어 다큐멘터리>는 그의 첫 작품이다.
