Synopsis

In Echo, two kinds of life coexist. A life of a teacher and a life of a student. Due to the generation gap, these two lives are in conflict. However, this conflict is a necessary process to move on to the next stage: the old generation's strong sense of duty to preserve traditions, and the young generation's growing pains in a harsh reality. Both generations sympathize with each other through the medium of 'sound', in the Maehwa Gukak (Korean traditional music) training institute of master singer Park Chu-ja, located in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.
