Synopsis

For Han-sol, a high school senior living with a father who beats him at the slightest provocation, a friend Gi-suk, who raps about his hard feelings of being raised in a broken family, is the only person whom he can open his heart to. After entering high school and becoming distant from Gi-suk, Han-sol visits his rap club, but Han-sol’s father is never fond of Han-sol as a rapper.

  • Jeong Dae-geon graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Korea University and studied film directing at the Korean Academy of Film Arts. His first feature documentary To Old Hip Hop Kid (2011), which was also screened at the 2012 Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, won the Excellence Award and Audience Award at the 2011 Seoul Independent Film Festival.
