Synopsis

Billie Holiday’s life has been the subject of countless myths, legends and rumors. The most interesting statements of her contemporaries, speaking about various telling episodes from her life, will be presented with off screen narration of selected archive material and newly filmed footage of key locations.

  • 1970년 슈투트가르트에서 태어난 카챠 두레거는 쾰른, 튀빙겐, 마르부르크대학교에서 정치학, 역사학, 철학, 수사학, 문학, 미디어학을 비롯하여 다큐멘터리까지 공부했다. 2000년부터 독일의 텔레비전 방송국에서 프리랜서 TV 저널리스트 겸 다큐멘터리 감독으로 활동 중이다.
