Synopsis

The Korean opera singer, Kim Jae-chang has been with the Children’s Choir in India for the last 5 years. His short temper earned him a nickname ‘Angry Bird.’ Realizing that the children cannot fully explore their potentials without the proper support from their parents, he tries to convince the parents the importance of the choir work for their children. The best way to do that is to have the parents join the choir! During this musical journey we witness how music enlivens and empowers people, connecting people from different cultures and generations.​

  • Ji Hye-won is a veteran producer and director with over 20 years of experience directing and producing major broadcast programs. She worked at the independent production company 3rd Vision Co., Ltd. and TV Chosun’s Content Headquarters before establishing and managing her own independent production company, Bareun Media, in 2008. She has produced various TV programs, including *KBS Hanminjok Report*, *Human Theater*, *Docu Ggamgak*, and *SBS Special*, earning numerous awards both domestically and internationally. In 2016, she was nominated for the International Emmy Awards in the documentary category. *Angry Birds and Songs* marks her first venture into feature-length documentary filmmaking.
