Synopsis

This is a story about a small Makgeolli bar, Seongbuk-dong Makgeolli, where diverse people gather for laugh and cry. Everyone sings about today’s life on their own. With hope and tears, their songs give them strength to live today and make them dream for a better tomorrow. Maybe Makgeolli has some mysterious power. (*Makgeolli: Korean traditional rice wine)

  • 박상준 감독은 연세대학교 철학과와 한국영화아카데미를 졸업했다. 단편영화 <우리 학교 대표>(2008)와 <스마일버스>(2011)를 연출했으며, <성북동 막걸리>는 2016년 충무로뮤지컬영화제에서 관객상을 수상했다​.
