Synopsis

​Anoosh and Arash are at the center of Tehran’s underground techno scene. Tired of hiding from the police and their stagnating career, they sell their illegally printed album without permission. When Anoosh is arrested, there seems to be no hope left. But then they receive a phone call from the biggest techno festival in the world. Arriving in Switzerland, they are overwhelmed by their own dream. With their visa expiring, they have to make a decision: Should they stay in Europe or should they go back to Iran...?​​

  • 독일 출신의 수잔나 레지나 메우레스는 런던 코톨드 미술관에서 사진과 예술사를 공부했고, 취리히 예술대학에서 영화를 공부했다. 영화 연출을 시작하기 전에는 출판업에 종사했는데, <테크노 전사들의 이란 탈출>은 그녀의 첫 장편 다큐멘터리이다.
