Synopsis

Endo Michiro, the legendary punk singer, a native of Nihonmatsu in Fukushima, leads a folk punk band 4 years after the accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, and stands on the Iwaki city Shidamyo district oar for the resurrection of Bon Odori, which had been discontinued for about 40 years. Shidamyo is a Hot Spot discovered after the nuclear accident, young people voluntarily evacuated, only old people remaining.​

  • Born in Fukushima in 1950, Michiro Endo formed the punk band 'The Stalin' in 1980 and was active for five years. After 'The Stalin' disbanded, he began his solo career as an acoustic guitarist in 1993. In 2011, during his 60th birthday tour, he directed his first film and also launched 'Project Fukushima!' to aid in the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
