Synopsis

Konrad ‘Conny’ Plank is undoubtedly one of the most innovative sound designers of his time. The recordings realized in his studio near Cologne between the 60s and 80s, revolutionized the music world. The documentary is the search for the person and producer Conny Plank, a journey through music history, a son getting to know his father.

  • At the age of 18, Leto Kaduff founded the record label ‘Lux Noise’. After working as a presenter for Swiss National Radio, and a producer and director for Swiss TV, he made a documentary about the legendary rock band ‘Krokus’ in the 1980s, which won the Best Film Award at the Zurich Film Prize in 2004. Stefan Flank, the son of Conny Flank, completed this work in search of his father’s traces, who passed away when he was just 13 years old.
