Synopsis

Mostar Sevdah Reunion is a world music band founded after the end of the war in the former Yugoslavia. Through interviews with musicians and other local artists, with the accompaniment of the songs of the group, with their typical balkan taste, the film narrates the social and cultural tension in Mostar, a city in the balance between a pitied past and an uncertain future.

  • 루치오 데 칸디아는 1976년 이탈리아 트라니에서 태어났다. 그는 2007년부터 로마에 있는 유럽 영화 아카데미 ‘그리피스‘에서 연출과 비평을 공부했다. 그는 첫 단편 <최후의 날> 이후 단편 다큐멘터리 <나의 땅>을 만들었고, 첫 중편 다큐멘터리 <발칸 블루스>를 만들었다.
