Synopsis

For 10 idyllic years, young Mi-ja has been caretaker and constant companion to Okja at her home in the mountains of Korea. But that changes when a multinational conglomerate Mirando Corporation takes Okja for themselves and transports her to New York, where image-obsessed CEO Lucy has big plans for Mi-ja’s dearest friend. With no particular plan, Mi-ja sets out on a rescue mission, all Mi-ja wants to do is bring her friend home.​​
