Synopsis

This film tells the story of Ara Malikian, a multifaceted violinist of Lebanese origin with Armenian roots. The film follows his professional journey and personal story. Music saved his life when he escaped war. He left Beirut at the age of 14 and has since led a nomadic life, taking his music around the world.

  • Nata Moreno is a director and playwright. In 2016, she founded Kokoro Films, where she works on advertisements and personal projects. She is also the stage director for violinist Ara Malikian’s shows and oversees the production of his music videos and concert tours. Her documentary Exiled Violinist Ara Malikian was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award.
