Synopsis

Born in the Soviet Union, Aram Khachaturian became his home-land’s representative composer although he never received any official training to the age of 18. His works during the World War II such as the “Gayane Ballet Suite” and “Symphony no. 2” reflected on the folk music of Armenia, Georgia, Turkey. This film cinematically portrays Khachaturian’s composition of the “Gayane,” particularly the song “Sabre Dance."

  • 감독이자 시나리오 작가인 유수프 라지코프는 1957년 우즈베키스탄의 타쉬켄트에서 태어났다. 1986년 모스크바의 러시아 국립영화학교를 졸업하고 몇 편의 시나리오를 썼으며 그의 작품<목동>(2005)은 모스크바 영화제에서 수상하기도 했다. 작품으로 <목동> 외에도 <수치>(2013)와 <터키의 슬픔>(2017) 등이 있다.​
