Synopsis

Hae-On, who writes lyrics for a band, uses her grandmother's poetry as lyrics to win a broadcast audition, only to discover that her poem is a plagiarized version of another song's lyrics.

Program Note

Hae-on is in a band and writes a song with lyrics from his grandmother's poem that he stumbles upon. The song wins them an audition at the station, and Hae-on is thrilled with the opportunity. However, Hae-On realizes that the poem in her grandmother's notebook is actually the lyrics to another song. Her bandmates insist that she should just sing the song, since she can't pass up the opportunity. What is the definition of a creative person, the process rather than the outcome, and the right choice of a creative person are explored in a light-hearted way. The idea of connecting plagiarism with the familiar theme of a poetry-writing grandmother stands out.(Songhee Kim)
