Synopsis
A father who is unable to speak or move his body. He tries to feed the cow, which still won't eat the water. My father, who can't even hold his own body, is busy taking care of the cows. The son tries to understand his father, but his father's stubbornness only gets worse with each passing day, and eventually the impatient son gets angry with his father. Manda.
Program Note
We have two men and a cow. The father silently fixates on the cow, while the son holds resentment towards his father's devotion to the animal despite his own declining health. Eventually, the father and the son, who have decided to sell the fully grown cow, part ways and face a confrontation on their way home. Barn captures, through subtle moments, the gradually rekindling bond between a parent and a child, who have drifted apart over the years. The repetition and evolution of meal scenes serve as examples of these moments. Just like a slow and heavy but diligent bull, sincere direction and nuanced performances play their respective roles.
