Synopsis

​ A miraculous song is dropped in front of Joseph, a twenty-year-old man with nothing. One day, while he was happily singing One day, after a happy time singing "the song" that seems to be destined for him, a vision appears in front of him who has everything, even the owner of the song. Qingming appears...... The story of all of us who miss out on small happiness by longing for what we don't have.

Program Note

​ Using a loose interpretation of the musical form, Our Song portrays the intertwined journey of two young men who come from opposite social classes and have contrasting attitudes toward life. Instead of following a conventional narrative of passionate youth and music, the film captivates by introducing dramatic twists and turns. One of the film's greatest strengths lies in its title songs. Created specifically for the film, these original songs possess powerful lyrics and melodic appeal. Like the presence of glow-in-the-dark star stickers on the bedroom ceiling in the movie, Our Song radiates a comforting warmth, drawing viewers in with the tender gaze of the stars. (Lee Yongcheol)
