Synopsis

Two workers in a fire extinguisher warehouse kill time practicing Jujitsu with each other. The balddomed Fujio is the steely-eyed teacher, while the Afro-haired Mitsuo is his student. Nearby is “Black Fuji,”a mound of refuse where the citizens of Tokyo deposit everything including corpses. Revived by the toxic waste, the corpses **begin** arising from their graves as zombies. Finding themselves under ravenous assault, they jump in their van and hightail it out of Tokyo.

감독

사토 사키치

1964년 오사카 출생. 연출, 각본, 연기의 다방면에서 재능을 펼치고 있다. 미이케 다카시 감독의 <이치 더 킬러>(2002), <우두>(2003)의 각본을 썼으며 스즈크 다쿠지 감독의 <파르코 픽션>, 구로사와 기요시 감독의 <밝은 미래>, 쿠엔틴 타란티노 감독의 <킬 빌>에는 배우로 참여했다. <야쿠자 경찰Gokudo Cop> (2003), <울트라마조 경찰 Ultramaso Cop> (2003) 등을 연출했으나 극장 개봉작은 <도쿄 좀비>가 처음이다.
