Synopsis

For 11-year old Regina in Iceland, staying home and spending the summer vacation doing nothing is just unthinkable. If only her mother could get over her widowhood and meet someone special, then maybe Regina could go to summer camp like all the other kids her age. And it just happens that Regina finds the perfect candidates, Atli, father of her friend, Peter. After launching her secret plan, she discovers her special gift: her singing can get anyone to do what she wants.

마리아 시거다도티어

배우로서, 그리고 감독으로 마리아 시거다도티어는 연극, 영화 다방면에서 활발히 활동해 왔다. 그녀는 프레드릭 토르 프리드릭슨과 함께 많은 영화작업을 했는데, 처음에는 프리드릭슨의 <버림받은 천사들>과 같은 작품에서 조감독으로 일했으며 또 다른 작품들의 캐스팅 디렉터로도 활동했다. <레지나>는 그녀의 감독 데뷔작이다.
