Synopsis

Following his film about music and war in Iraq, < Soundtrack to War >, director/co-producer George Gittoes delves into the murky underbelly of the Land of the Free in < Rampage >. It is another Gittoes'''' journey into the forbidden zones. The film leads us to the ghettoes of Miami, following the story of four brothers: a soldier in Iraq, a hip hop genius walking a thin line, a gentle film buff, and a 14-year-old who raps about corpses, AK47s and drug deals.

1949년 호주 시드니 출생. 화가, 사진가 그리고 작가이자 영화감독으로 활동하고 있다. 1980년대 이후로는 주로 분쟁지역의 문화에 관한 영화를 연출해왔으며, 이라크, 아프가니스탄, 필리핀, 러시아, 아프리카 그리고 중동 지역에서 작업했다. 현재는 자신의 작품인 <전쟁의 사운드트랙>과 <광란>을 바탕으로 한 장편영화를 진행 중이다.
