Synopsis

After a 4-year break, Sigur Rós has returned with their new album *Valtari* and an interesting visual experiment. The band invited 14 directors, photographers, and visual artists, including John Cameron Mitchell of *Hedwig and the Angry Inch*, to listen to their new album and create whatever they felt inspired to make to accompany the music. They also held a public competition to be part of this project, and out of over 800 entrants, two videos were selected for the film. The *Valtari Film Experiment* serves as a touching reminder for those who attended their concert in May and a wonderful opportunity for those who missed it to catch up.
