Synopsis

An intimate 'fly on the wall' documentary about iconoclastic rocker Bobby Bare Jr., the son of country music legend Bobby Bare. It explores his struggles with the repercussions of a perpetual life on the road—the constant separations and the disconnection from loved ones back home. Musicians including My Morning Jacket, Justin Townes Earle, Hayes Carll, David Vandervelde, Blue Giant, Duane Denison, Carey Kotsionis, and Bobby Bare Sr. make appearances in the film.

  • William Miller, who majored in film at New York University, completed *Bobby Bare Jr.'s Music* and is currently working on post-production for the documentary *Ticking Time Bomb*. He also edited the independent film *Happy New Year*, which was screened at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival.
