Synopsis

There is a folk-blues singer-songwriter called ‘Seedless Watermelon Kim DJ’ in Hongdae. However, he has never dreamed of becoming a professional musician. He rather thought of himself as a storyteller, talking about his life with the accompaniment of the guitar and harmonica. He first talked about his own name, which is exactly the same as that of the former Korean president. Then he called himself ‘Seedless Watermelon Kim DJ’ following the American blues naming rules. After releasing his debut album, he becomes a ‘musician’, but is still not familiar with proper stages and audiences. This documentary introduces his music and life.

  • Lee Ju-ho passed the 2010 Bunga Bunga Record recruitment program and became an artist manager. Around the same time, he began working on video projects with friends. He eventually quit being a manager and focused solely on video work, eventually making documentary films.
