Synopsis

John, leader of an English rock band touring in France, receives the news of the death of his father, a tough and egocentric man. Backstage, he shall undergo the contradictory emotional turmoil of this death.

  • Born in France in 1977, Ananda Safo graduated from art school and then went on to university. After working as a teacher and photographer, she became a film director. The Red Coat is her second short film, and her debut short Some Girls (2001) won first prize at a film festival in Paris.
