Synopsis

A shy teenager, Tom is desperate to impress his dream girl, Felix and show the world that he has what it takes to be a rocker. When Steve, a bearded stranger, moves into the flat below and plays rock, Tom is convinced that his unruly neighbor is a disgraced rock star who is faking his death to evade taxation. Tom agrees not to report him to police on the condition that he will teach Tom the dark arts of rock guitar. His mother’s disastrous marriage to Tom’s father, a failed musician, means she would do anything to protect her son from the evils of rock and roll. ​

  • He studied animation at the National Film School of Wales starting in 1997 and created his first short film in 2000. He participated in the production of several music videos, including Coldplay's [Trouble] in 2001 and Radiohead's [There There] in 2003. In 2011, he directed his first feature film, . is his second feature-length film.​
