Synopsis

Raised by a trash-picking father at Chinatown, New York City, 11 years old violinist Xiaobao is bullied by her wealthier classmates. After her heart-felt violin performance, her father decides to reveal to her a lifelong secret he had kept from her.

  • 뉴욕 비쥬얼아트스쿨에서 영화연출 전공으로 석사학위를 받았다. 2011년 첫 단편 <드림워커>를 만들었고, 이후 중국의 설화에서 영감을 받아 극본을 쓴, 두번째 단편영화 <수프>(2012)를 만들었다. <꼬마 바이올리니스트>는 뉴욕 비쥬얼아트스쿨 졸업 작품이다.
