Synopsis

Charleen is one of those teens who seem to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders. Maybe it’s because of her traineeship at and an undertaker’s, or because of her passion for Kurt Cobain. One day, she decides to call it and quit life. Luckily, her clumsy suicide attempt fails and she gets hospitalized. But there’s Linus, the school nerd whom Charleen meets at the therapist’s. He is weird, but somehow caring, interesting, and fun to be with.

  • Born in 1977, Mark Monheim was passionate about photography, writing, and rock music from an early age. After graduating from school in 1997, he volunteered at a children’s hospital in Munich while studying documentary directing at the University of Television and Film Munich, graduating in 2008. During his studies, he participated in various film productions as a still photographer, assistant director, and lighting/set staff. Since 2008, he has been working as a freelance writer.
