Synopsis

The young musician Jett Rebel(23) won two 3FM Awards and an Edison last year. Together with the inspiring guitar builder Sjak Zwier, who has made guitars for members of Toto and Queen, he discovers what is actually important in life; doing what makes you happy. This film shows the uncertain period of dreams up to his breakthrough.

  • Han Rijken received his Master’s degree in Film Studies from the University of Amsterdam in 2012. While studying, he co-directed Forgotten Sounds (2010) with Roksana Boms. After graduating, he attended the Netherlands Film Academy. In his third year, he served as a student jury member at Munich's DOK.fest and created The Netherlands in 5 Movements (2013), praised for its unique and poetic style.
