Synopsis

Sister and brother lived in a small town with their grandfather in northern China. The grandfather wanted to take part in the trumpet competition, yet his trumpet was broken. Sister and brother were anxious about this. They decided to look for a new one to help their grandfather participate in the competition. They went through all kinds of hardships and difficulties, and succeeded in finding one at last. Although grandfather didn’t win the competition, sister and brother’s love had already expressed.

  • 1968년 태어나 영화를 전공했다. 2008년 <차 주전자>라는 작품으로 데뷔한 이후 <깊은 연못> (2010), <미친 노인>(2011), <불타는 마음>(2012), <라오산의 전쟁>(2013)과 <할아버지의 나팔>까지 모든 작품의 극본과 연출을 맡았다. 현대 중국 사회의 다양한 모습을 소박한 영상에 담아내고 있는 린 지아 감독은 현재 <커플 파트너>를 제작 중이다.
