Synopsis

After 50 years on the stage, Scorpions decided in 2010, it was time to say their goodbyes to a rock star lifestyle and to embark on one last music tour. For 3 years, all round the world, they will spend the best time of their life. Forever and a Day is a portrait of a life long journey, a love declaration to music. ‘Always’ is forever followed by a new ‘Day’ and that’s how the Scorpions rock.

  • Born in Wiesbaden in 1966, Katja von Garnier studied directing at the Munich Film School. She gained recognition in 1993 with her graduation film , and her first feature film (1998) told the story of four female inmates who form a band. In 2007, she directed , and in 2013, she made in Germany, which follows a teenage girl who discovers her ability to connect with horses.
