Synopsis

Aaron, an opera singer from Israel, arrives to perform as a guest artist at a provincial theatre in Poland. He feels uncomfortable in a country where the Jews suffered greatly, but endeavored to integrate with the company. However, during one rehearsal, he spots someone peeping out at him from behind the drapes. Someone who, to his horror, looks like... Adolf Hitler.

  • Born in Poland in 1979, Michał Grzybowski graduated from the Acting Department of the Łódź Film School and began working at the Nowy Theatre. His directorial debut, Non Sono Pronto (2010), received a Special Mention at the Gdynia Film Festival. Hitler in the Opera was conceived while he was attending directing classes at the Wajda School.
