Synopsis

Julien arrives unannounced at his brother Max’s place. Max lives in a travellers’ camp in the Foret Cevenole. The brothers have not seen each other for several years. Julien falls in love with Lise, a girlfriend of Max’s, Lise, who also lives in the community, makes music with Max. This messy love upsets Julien and causes between the brothers unresolved family conflicts to resurface.

  • Fred Gerard studied at the School of Fine Arts in Rennes and at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in France. He began his film career in 1991, starring in Beautiful (1993) by Christian Vincent and Fast (1994) by Dante Desarthe. He directed his first short film, Where Are You Going?, in 1996.
