Synopsis

In his debut as a filmmaker, Juan J. Ochoa presents a story of a pianist in the intimacy of his piano. With music of Isaac Albeniz, Evocation reflects the desire and the inspiration of an artist in a piece that blurs the boundaries between music, dance and cinema. A film is full of passion, beauty and sensitivity.

  • Juan Ochoa works to blend classical and contemporary music with other art forms. He entered the world of film at the age of ten, when he appeared as both actor and musician in the short film Minuetto. He has composed for several advertisements and short films, and won the Kino Award for the theme of Aritz Para's Sheriff.
