Synopsis

Four boys are growing up in Oslo when Beatlemania hits Norway. The four boys each take one of the Beatles’ names, and they plan to start their own outfit, The Snafus. Like many teenage dreams, this one never comes to fruition, but the need to save up for instruments becomes the drive behind much of what they do as they blunder through their formative years, discovering girls, being beaten up by rival gangs, experimenting with alcohol, and finding their footing as activists.

  • Peter Flinth
  • Born in 1964, Peter Flinth graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1993 and went on to direct numerous commercials and short films. He made his feature debut in 1997 with Eye of the Eagle, which received critical acclaim. He later directed two children’s films in Denmark, Olsen Gang Junior (2001) and The Wizard of Rumba (2004), as well as Mastermind (2005) and the two-part epic Arn in Sweden.
