Synopsis

Harold Lloyd, a young, timid and clumsy boy, does not know how to seduce the girl he loves. He must compete with a careless lout who is about to steal Lloyd’s fiancée from him. After several acts of bravery, Lloyd succeeds in winning his girl back.

  • Born in Colorado, USA, Fred C. Newmeyer is best known for directing several episodes of the *Our Gang* series and Harold Lloyd’s film The Freshman. He also directed and acted in other comedy shorts. Between 1914 and 1923, he appeared in 71 films as an actor and co-directed the famous Harold Lloyd silent film Safety Last! (1923) with Sam Taylor. He passed away in 1967 in Woodland Hills, California at the age of 78.
