Synopsis

​Varun Chakrapani (VC), a Squadron Leader with the Indian Air Force, is posted in Srinagar. The bold and beautiful Leela Abraham, a junior doctor, comes to Srinagar to work in the Government Hospital. They meet due to VC’s injury and their stormy affair begins. Kashmir’s border skirmish grows into the Kargil war and Leela decides to leave CV’s vulnerability. Their story mirrors the picturesque and turbulent Srinagar that it is set in. Seemingly perfect and beautiful on the outside, but hiding deep scars. The Oscar-winning A.R Rahman composed its music.

  • 1955년 인도 타밀 나두 출생. 마니 라트남은 마드라스대학교에서 무역학을 전공한 뒤 MBA를 취득했다. 그의 첫 영화 <팔라비 아누팔라비>는 1983년 카르나타카영화제에서 각본상을 수상했으며, 이후 작품을 통해 다양한 영화제에서 수상한 바 있다. 1998년 작품 <나는 테러리스트를 사랑했다>는 베를린국제영화제에서 최우수아시아작품상을 수상했다. 여러 주요 영화제에서 마니 라트남 회고전을 개최하기도 하였다.
