Synopsis

Adil is seven years old and lives in the suburbs of Casablanca. His father is a waiter. He does not like his job and wants his son to aim for a better future. One day, his father takes Adil to a wedding where he is working. There, a traditional Moroccan band is playing. Adil had never seen a violin before and is mesmerized by the instrument.

  • Lamia Bengheloune
  • Born in 1996 in Rabat, Morocco, Lamia Bengheloune studied ballet and contemporary dance, as well as piano and photography. She decided to dedicate herself to filmmaking, moving to London to study film production and directing several student films there. Later, she moved to Paris, where she completed her master's degree at the Sorbonne University.
