Synopsis

Alexandre Desplat chose to write for the movie industry so he could bring together his two passions: music and cinema. Within a little more than 20 years, he composed the music of more than 70 feature films. Beyond his creations for the cinema, we will discover throughout this documentary, a generous composer, whose renown does not stop to grow.

  • Having built his career in visual sound while working on TV program special effects, he has also planned various advertising campaigns for Gaumont Film Company as an art director. In 2006, he founded 'Prelight Films' and began producing a documentary series about world-renowned film composers titled 'Masters of Film Music'.
