Synopsis

Natalia Frígola (1912-2002) devoted her life to music. She became the first woman ever to play with the Orchestra of Valencia. Natalia broke every rule of her time. She decided against having a family of her own and chose music as her lifestyle instead. This film is a tribute to all women who believe in the right to choose their own destiny.

  • Ana María Perry, born in Valencia, Spain, worked as a journalist, radio, and TV editor for 10 years. In 2011, she founded the production company VÍGARO FILMS, where she began producing and directing her own films while also producing works by other directors. Misappropriation is her feature film directorial debut.
