Synopsis

This film is a dance film about the May 18 Gwangju Democratic movement. A Spring Dau is an audio-visual poem of dancers’ movements, sign language interpreters' hand gestures, and the streets of Gwangju (meaning "the city of light") that sometimes flow fast or sometimes remain silently still.

He has introduced his works through various platforms such as screenings, exhibitions, and live performances. His 2016 work, Blind Film, was introduced in the short film non-competitive section at the Cannes Film Festival.
