Synopsis

​This is a lullaby for someone. The improvised performance of the musical instrument Kalimba, played in rituals in Africa, echoes through the sea, where victims steadily died just because they followed the instruction “Stay still”. The film tries to connect and consulate the earnest desire of both the deceased and the bereaved through the sound and physical expression.​

  • 때로는 음악을 하고 때로는 퍼포먼스를 하고 때로는 그림을 그리며 또 때로는 영화를 하는 전방위 창작예술가. 일본군 ‘위안부’, 미군 ‘위안부’, 제주4.3, 세월호참사, 용산참사 등 억울하게 희생된 이들의 곁에서 그들을 위로하는 작업을 하고 있다. 2017년부터 <애도기행: 마지막 자장가>시리즈를 작업 중이다.
