Synopsis

Yeo-myeong, an aspiring singer, is struggling with extreme poverty. After her neighbor leaves for the military, she gazes at the red fire extinguisher he gave her as she writes a song. Yeo-myeong hopes to be like the fire extinguisher—one day her talents will finally burst out, and she too will fulfill her role. But the fire extinguisher reaches its expiration date. Can Yeo-myeong make it as a singer?

  • Shin Seo-won studied computer engineering and media arts, and has participated in various video productions at broadcasting stations and production companies. He is currently working in the direction team for feature films. Fire Extinguisher is his first directorial work, based on a script he wrote himself.
