Program Note
The power of memory is profound. *Tune in for Love* touches audiences with its analog warmth and nostalgic soundtrack from the 1990s. On October 1, 1994—the day the radio program *Yoo Yeol’s Music Album* first aired—Hyun-woo and Mi-su, both 20 years old, meet for the first time. As their relationship weaves through repeated meetings and partings due to life’s circumstances, their story is layered with the pop music of the '90s, like memories stored in an old photo album.
The soundtrack, which seems to reflect the characters’ emotions, enriches their otherwise ordinary romance. Much like a “music album” itself, the film uses sentimental lyrics to express the hidden feelings of the lovers. Songs by Fin.K.L, Shin Seung-hun, Lucid Fall, and Toy lend emotional texture to this nostalgic, heartwarming journey.
